  • My brothers told me it was a must try so the 3 of us went for dinner last night. Beautiful, spacious and warmly decorated with lots of wood and subtle accents. The energy and atmosphere are inviting and the owners and staff are hospitable, conscientious and fun. The food was spectacular, from the charcuterie we shared (the rabbit and blueberry pate is a must), to the "hunter" with perfectly al dente tagliatelle and scrumptious boar , the steak frites cooked to a perfect medium rare with a beautiful fresh and light green chimichuri and the succulent duck legs are an absolute must. We followed that with a beautifully created lemon curd and blueberry tart, an amazing perfectly textured salt caramel cheesecake and a light an airy key lime pie. A perfect meal shared with great company at a wonderful new addition to Wakefield. Congratulations to Wapokunie and Min, we will be back, many, many times! - Jo Scott G.
  • What a great addition to the village. The place is beautiful - lots of wood, bold walls and great lighting, Chairs are comfortable and table size was great for 2 people (not those mini tables that hold 1 glass) The food is unbelievable - everything we had had (steak & fries, boar burger) was cooked to perfection - the way you want it (we were asked) and beautifully presented. Just the right amount for a meal - couldn't quite finish my fries, but only because I was drinking their delicious red wine. The wine menu is amazing - lots of great choices by the glass, half litre or bottle. So happy to see the half litre brought back! Also, lots of funky cocktails, which is fun. But the thing that makes this place so great is the owners attention to every detail, The decor, the food, the service. She's everywhere all night making sure you're happy. Just spectacular. Can't wait to go again. - Amanda D.
